100k in 30 Days (Rob Toth September 2010 birthday goal)

I have a birthday coming up…

Yes it’s MONTHS away but it’s the 30th birthday.

And I’m odd, in many ways. One of those oddities is that the only real “holiday” worth celebrating in my eyes is a birthday. It celebrates having been born (ie: life). And that’s pretty damn cool. So I’m BIG on birthdays.

But I’m not big on materialistic things (or dust collecting clutter as I call it).

I’ve been chewing on what I “want” for my birthday.

And I’ve come to one very obvious realization… I want a new milestone, a new level of accomplish, a new piece of personal-pride. And THAT is a $100,000 NET PROFIT in 30-days month.

Since my birthday is September 27th which is the end of the month, I want to be able to appreciate having hit a new landmark.

(While I have GROSSED over $100k in as little as a week, I’ve NEVER had a personal net month in the 6-figures).

If you’re interested in following my ridiculously ambitious goal… here is a video I short adlib about a week ago.

I didn’t know if / when I’d share it but I figured the more accountability partners I have, the more I’ll hold myself to this.

Comments, input on my silly birthday-goal are entirely welcomed.

BY THE WAY… a very happy birthday to you for all the ones I’ve missed and any you may have coming up.

    Hi Rob

Thanks for the video I found it really inspiring. I was taking plenty of notes and when you mentioned the ‘paradigm’ shift that happened to you I realized that is at the point I am at. A BIG THANKS for that great insight. I am fully confident you can make 6 figures in a month. It takes guts to put your goal out there and front up to it. Good on you.

All the very best from Peter Hamilton (Australia)

    Hi Rob
    Good luck to you!
I’ve only recently come across you and have read your stuff with interest.$100,000 in a month (OMG) if I could do that in a year I would be very pleased. It’s not for want of trying, more like maybe trying too hard to get any results.
A word from the wise – don’t take it all for granted and be thankful for your talents.

  • Hi Rob,

Thanks for your feedback and taking an interest in other peoples goals.
I think that it’s for that reason alone, that you do well, and will continue to do so.

Simply by continuing to genuinely help and encourage others,
    the money will come automatically.

In reference to allowing me to “hijack this convo”,
I came up with an idea from your response to my previous post,
for not only me to share my goals.

Maybe you can let everyone know that they can come here,
and do the same thing that you did.

Share their goals and make them public on this blog.
Even better, put a deadline on it, and then come back later to share
    the results amongst each other.

    Here’s mine.

My Birthday is on August 12.
For me earning $1000 a day “continuously” would be MY “ridiculously
    ambitious” goal, yet, not unrealistic.

I think I have a similar type of attitude towards this goal as you have towards yours.

For me it’s because I have not done a “consistent” $1000 day continuously.

However, knowing that on some occasions due to mailings to a list, or other types of promotion, I have been able to accomplish a $1000 day,
I know that for me it’s not just a dream.

I believe that if its possible for me once or twice, it should be possible all the time.

Therefore at this stage I am simply creating new products to add to my offers, put them out there, and also figuring out others ways to duplicate, quadruplicate, and or tenfold my current results.

So there it is! $1000 continuously by August 12.

I will come back to this blog and let you know how I….
(ahum,… tell you that I made it and surpassed it :)

Anyone else want to share their goal?

    Thanks again Rob.

    Arnold.

Whats up, nice website. I love your design. I just enrolled in computer classes and would really like to start my own webpage. Thanks for the outstanding post!

  • The Genie says:

    Really thanks a lot guys!!

    I appreciate this.

Curtis, I agree that I do feel its entirely attainable. That’s part of the motivation for pushing for it… it’s a bit of a let down knowing I’ve never yet hit that as a net income. However, regardless, WORK will be involved.

So I think this post and the accountability is more or less whether I will get down to smart work and make this happen.

Arnold, thanks for the kind words. And feel free to hijack this convo and share your own goals. It’s definitely not “just about me”. I just put this out there for my selfish reasons (I need a lot of public accountability partners) … but that doesn’t discredit your OWN goals. So feel free to share and, best wishes with it.

  • Curtis says:

    Hey Rob,

I’ve hopefully got many birthdays coming up, so thanks for the birthday wishes :P

Ok, joking aside, I think that’s a pretty sweet goal. Sometime in late 2009, I made a goal to be a cash millionaire by age 30.

So you’ve got 3 months to achieve your goal, and I’ve got about 9 and 1/2 years, LOL.

I honestly don’t think your goal is that ambitious. Don’t get me wrong – I really like it. I just think you can do better :) In fact, I dare you to do better.

Got any ideas as to how you’re going to accomplish your goal?

Launching your own product? Platinum mastermind? Group coaching? Consulting for offline companies? Selling some assets? A combo?

I wish you the best of luck with this :)

    Curtis

P.S. Totally agree with you on the holiday thing. Victoria Day, Christmas, and Easter are almost the same for me. It’s not that I have any disrespect for the holidays…I just don’t get too excited about them.

The only ones that matter for me are birthdays and New Year’s.

    Have a GREAT pre-Birthday !

Those that fail to plan –
    plan to fail….

Get that goal or have fun trying.
    To a Fantastic summer.

  • Well done Rob on having the guts to say your goals to an audience!! Maybe the ‘pressure’ of knowing that others are watching could actually help you on your way…

All the best on your goal.

    By the way, happy birthday!!

  • Rob,

Let me be the first to support you in your 6 figure in a month goal.
I personally believe that you can, and will do it, and from there
you will sustain that amount as your average monthly income +.
I’m believing with you, and sending my positive vibes on this your way.
I have been very privileged to have had a phone consultation with you,
and with the extremely valuable information that you gave me,
I am certain that I can reach my own personal goals as well.
However this is not about me, this is about your goal,
so I’ll leave you with this, simply implement ALL that you already know,
and $100,000 a month for you, will be a piece of cake.

    Arnold Stolting.
