As I write this, I have a couple of people spying
on me.
Which is great.
I’m testing a new platform that I really want to
start using heavily in 2011.
I’m a fan of teleseminars and webinars. Unfortunately,
these days they get heavily used as sales-vehicles only.
I don’t know about you… but 9.5 times out of
10, when I get a chance to attend a webinar, it
is very low on content and very high on sales offers.
I’m all for making a sale. But all good things
in moderation.
So what I’d rather work towards is something
more like an “open door” webinar with live video,
live chat that let’s users come and go as they
please during a specific time.
For example… as I write this email, I’m
currently also logged onto the webinar system.
If you were on here with me, you’d actually see
me writing this email.
Seeing me write an email is, of course, a
pointless reason to tune in.
But right now I’m just testing.
What I’m working towards is I want to run a
regulary held 2-hour “open door” event where
anyone can just drop in, and join into the live
chat with me and any others in the room.
This would be for different times each day.
I’d simply announce my “open door” schedule in
advance so you could check your schedule and
take part.
The point though would be to bring your
questions, possibly business problems, hang-ups,
opinion requests, web critique requests etc
and have me answer them.
As the name suggests, it would be an Open-Door
Webinar Based Coaching (that’s a terrible name!
I’ll think up a fancier name later).
I’ll send more info on that later. But email
me back and let me know if you think it’s a
good idea (would YOU use it)?
Tomorrow night, at 6pm PST, I’m hosting a
webinar with Scott Rewick.
If you’ve read my emails or if you read the

then you know of Scott.
The webinar I’m holding with him WILL be a
content+offer type event. BUT, I emphasize
there WILL be content.
I could setup webinars all day long with just
about anybody these days. Yet this is my first
one that I’m hosting in a LONG time (well over
a year).
There’s a reason for that.
I appreciate what Scott brings to the table
in terms of knowledge, ability to teach,
sincerity and more. And “the offer” will be
access to his library of content and 1-on-1
mentorship opp*ortunity to work with him.
AFTER that webinar though, which should wrap
up 7:30-ish (PST, so that’s 10:30 EST) … I’ll
be hanging out in my new webinar room for at
least an hour.
I hope you’ll join in.

1) Keep 6pm PST (9pm EST) to 7:30pm PST open
for Monday night and join the webinar I’m hosting
with Scott. He’ll be teaching what he knows
best: media buying, large scale advertising,
big business growth and more. Make sure you bring
your questions to this event so he can answer
them for you.
NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for
Thursday night but had to be postponed due to
holiday-tight-schedules related conflicts.
2) After the presentation-format webinar with
Scott, join ME in my new webinar room. Here’s
